Freshly announced during an event in New York, the Motorola Razr 60 and 60 ultra capitalized on the qualities of their predecessors, by providing significant improvements.

An elegant and resistant design

The two models share a similar design with high -end materials, such as Alcantara or a real wooden side, which give them a premium appearance while remaining robust. Both have a strengthened titanium hinge, 4 times more resistant according to the Lenovo brand, and benefit from an IP48 certification against water and dust.

The RAZR 60 Ultra, however, offers slightly more refined finishes and specific colors developed in collaboration with Pantone, while the RAZR 60 has more classic colors.

Promising screens, but at different levels

Where the distinction between the two models is more marked, it is at the screens. The RAZR 60 Ultra has a 7.0 -inch (165 HZ LTPO) in internal 7.0 -inch screen, and an external 4.0 -inch external screen, 40 % larger than that of the RAZR 60 standard. The latter also has a main Poled LTPO screen, but a slightly lower size (6.9 inches) and with a 120 Hz (LTPO) cooling rate. The external screen of the RAZR 60 is smaller (3.6 inches), which leaves less surface for interactions.

The Razr 60 Ultra also benefits from a Pantone Validated screen guaranteeing more faithful and natural colors, and a new glass signed Corning, the Gorilla Glass-Céramic. Razr 60 is content with a Gorilla Glass Victus glass.

Power under the hood

The RAZR 60 Ultra is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, which guarantees better management of 40 % graphic tasks and graphics performance than those of RAZR 60, which uses a mediatek Dimensity 7400X chip.

In both cases, the two smartphones take advantage of the continuation of Moto AI tools which improves daily experience by suggesting actions based on user habits. However, the RAZR 60 Ultra takes advantage of more advanced features for more contextual and personalized recommendations.

A photo shutter that corrects errors from the past

Photo side, Motorala learned from his RAZR 50and teams the new generation of an ultra-wide-angle whose absence was lacking in the range in 2024. The RAZR 60 Ultra offers a 50-megapixel triple camera system, thus offering more flexibility to capture shots at different distances. The RAZR 60, on the other hand, has a main camera of 48 MP, which is more than enough, and is accompanied by an ultra-angle of 13 Mpx and a 32 MP selfie camera.

The two models enjoy an Ois video stabilization, modes like Group Shot for successful group selfies, and SHOT action for sharper photos. However, the video experience of the Razr 60 Ultra, with the management of Dolby Vision, places it without surprise a notch above.

The promise of comfortable autonomy

The two smartphones are provided with batteries promising sufficient autonomy to exceed the simple day of use: an accumulator with a capacity of 4700 mAh for the Razr 60 Ultra, against 4500 mAh for the classic Razr 60.

Both use the Turbopower load with a power of 68 W for the RAZR 60 Ultra, allowing to recover the equivalent of a day of autonomy in 8 minutes of load according to the manufacturer, and 30 W for the RAZR 60. They also support the wireless load with up to 30 W for the RAZR 60 Ultra, and 15 W for its more affordable version.
